Sunday 30th September 2018
As part of the Sussex Nomads Cycling Club 40th anniversary celebrations we are holding a reliability trial on Sunday 30th September. This event is open to all cyclists and all cycling clubs. A team prize will be awarded to the cycling club with the most riders who successfully complete the 50 mile route in 3 or 3.5 hours.
A reliability trial is a bicycle event that challenges the cyclist to complete a set route in a pre-set time limit but it is not a race.
The ride start/end and head quarters is at Ditchling Village Hall, 18 Lewes Rd, Ditchling, Hassocks BN6 8TT.
There is a choice of two route, 50 miles or 26 miles.
The 50 mile route which has 3,100 ft of climbing including Kidds Hill, can be seen here. Target times will be 3, 3.5 and 4 hours with the first batch of 4 hour riders starting at 7:50 am on wards. For the route sheet click here.
